Yesterday, Amazon has held a downtime for New world come time skip patch popped up on the servers, to fix the problem and temporarily reduce the housing tax to 10%. The notes after the maintenance was done let everyone know that there will be more compensation for various problems in recent weeks. Last night, they held a second downtime for a new update that started removing that compensation. Today, after investigating the initial coin claim, the team has put the EU Central region into emergency maintenance mode.
The second patch is intended to fix issues with the quest The Ritual that prevented players from completing it, stability problemand restore the Harvester gear set back into the game. Harvesting gear was accidentally removed with the last update, which marked all parts of the series as future content. Affected players should find a chest with the entire Harvester Set at whatever max score and gear level they previously reached.
When it comes to the economy, this is where things often get tough. The number of recent exploits made the pool to disable the transaction temporarily, as well as the effect of errors such as skip time for the whole server, resulting in the team promising compensation depending on how the player or their Company was affected. They promise a one-time refund of WAr returns, possibly demoted territory stations, and housing taxes. Some players on New world Forums are reporting excessive coin compensation, with some people seeing over 300,000 gold. There seems to be a difference behind putting the European Union Central server into maintenance mode. There is currently no update on when it will return or if there are any issues that need to be addressed.
