NBA YoungBoy Disses King Von – & Gets Response From Lil Durk

NBA YoungBoy dropped his latest track “Bring The Hook” ahead of his Colors mixtape which arrives on Friday (January 14).

One bar that got just about everyone in Chicago talking was when he took a shot at the famed O’Block neighborhood in the Chi’s Southside where rappers such as Lil Durk, the late King Von, Chief Keef and more once called home.

“N-gga, this that Squid Game, O’Block pack get rolled up/Murder what they told us, Atlanta boy get rolled up,” YB raps much to the dismay of Chicago natives.

The menacing lyrics got the attention of Durkio and Von’s sister Kayla B who both seemingly responded in subliminal fashion on social media Wednesday (January 12).

Don’t claim it if you ain’t do it you still a bitch,” Durk captioned his photo which finds him flexing stacks of cash, chains and posing next to a canvas of King Von from his Welcome To O’Block album photoshoot.

Kayla B added the same sentiment as the OTF leader and chimed in on Twitter with, “On Demon time in the house on house arrest? Get in these streets.”

Lil Reese also went after YoungBoy claiming he’s just copying the flow that’s trending in Hop Hop right now, “That ain’t no demon time he just rapping like the rest of these rappers all rap.”

A day prior to his death in November 2020, King Von cleared up that he had no real issues with NBA YoungBoy and there wasn’t an actual beef during an interview with Akademiks.

“They be saying that a lot,” he said. “It’s like, we got the same issues and hoes and then you know how the internet will try to make it.”
