OnePlus BGMI Campus dominates: Popular smartphone brand OnePlus held the Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament with a total prize pool of up to 25,000. The tournament will feature underdogs from top colleges across eight cities in the country.

Battlegrounds Mobile India currently dominates the Indian gaming market. Even after PUBG: New State came out, some players still prefer to stick with BGMI because the field of eSports is going strong. Krafton has announced that the BGMI India Series 2021 will start on December 4. In the midst of this, OnePlus has announced a college level tournament called BGMI Campus Dominate.

OnePlus has previously hosted Call Of Duty: Mobile and PUBG Mobile tournaments that featured gamers as well as famous cricketers. Due to the increase in popularity of Krafton’s Battlegrounds Mobile India, OnePlus together with Nodwin Gaming announced ‘BGMI Campus Dominate’. The tournament trailer was released yesterday and gives us many essential details about the tournament.

Format and Scheduling

A total of 64 colleges around 8 major cities will be able to participate in this tournament. After registration, teams will have to compete through 3 stages: College Qualifiers, City Qualifiers and finally the Finals. The tournament will take place on the following dates:

  • College Qualifier- November 26 – December 6
  • City Qualifier- December 7 – December 9
  • Final match- December 13

The total prize pool of 25,000 has been kept for BGMI Campus dominates. The huge prize pool will be divided among 10 teams and a special prize will also be given to the team that finishes the most.

  • The first day: 2,40,000 won
  • Second: 1,90,000 VND
  • The third day: 1,30,000 won

The 8 cities that can participate in the tournament are mentioned below:

  • Mumbai
  • Delhi
  • Bangalore
  • Chennai
  • Pune
  • Kolkata
  • Hyderabad
  • Ahmedabad

Players can register in their respective cities by visiting the official OnePlus Dominate Campus website. They can also click here register.
