Former UFC lightweight boxer Luis Pena was arrested again. The boxer got into trouble with the law for the third time.
Broward County announced that the UFC lightweight division was arrested for battery charging and misdemeanor misdemeanor charges. This news about the arrest Luis Pena first reported by TSN reporter Aaron Bronster.
Aaron reported the news via Twitter and wrote, “Former UFC lightweight, Luis Pena, was arrested Monday, for the third time since June. He faces two more counts of misdemeanor and misdemeanor offenses, according to Broward’s arrest records. These charges are for alleged violations that occurred outside of Broward Co. ”
Luis Pena has been arrested three times since June
The fighter was part of the UFC from 2018 to 2021. Luis Pena was cut from the UFC roster following a previous arrest related to domestic violence. A month later, after her second arrest and removal from the UFC, Pena was in trouble again.
Pena has fought a total of eight fights under the UFC banner. The boxer nicknamed “Violent Bob Ross” has had a 9-3-0 record throughout his entire MMA career. His most recent outing was against Alex Munoz in 2021 where he won the decisive match. The fight took place in April and he was cut from the roster in October.
Pena was arrested in October for allegedly hitting her partner repeatedly with her fist and causing her to fall to the ground. The boxer also beat up another woman who was a witness of the event. Sound of 911 call from a woman asking for help later appeared on the internet.
