Fonjeck Eric Azoh, 42, was convicted of pleading guilty to fraud in connection with the sale of pit bulls.

Court documents describe an elaborate plot Azoh designed to enrich himself by advertising pit bull adoptions on various websites. He directed his victims to pay for the dogs through a money transfer service, Walmart2Walmart, then asked for more money to cover the “unforeseen costs” of the animals that were, in fact, does not exist, according to the criminal complaint.
